Andrew Adair b. before 1740 (or 1745 ?) d.1773, Williamsburg Co, SC. Andrew's (1st ?) son was James Adair b. before 1763. Andrew's (2nd ?) son Samuel Adair had father-in-law, Samuel Blackwell who served under Marion in the Rev. War. Samuel Adair d. 1794/1799, Williamsburg, SC( Samuel's widow remarried McCLAREY / McCLEARY) Andrew's (3rd?) son William Adair may have also served under Marion in the Rev. War. Would the above Adair / McCleary families be related to the McCleary family in Mecklenburg Co, (below) and possibly the Irwin and Moore families ? Thankyou.
