ADAIR, Robert President, of Clinton, SC in 1922.
Age: 81 years on December 19, 1922.
Born: Laurens Co., SC.
Son of : Robert James ADAIR, b. in Jacks Township,
Laurens Co., S.C. and Sallie R. JACKS daughter of Isaac Jacks and Annie Whitten.

Robert President ADAIR stated :
"I do not know my great-grandfather's name, but he lived in the state of MARYLAND, and served in the Revolutionary War. My grandfather James Adair (I think that my great- grandfather was named James Adair also), came to South Carolina from MARYLAND, and settled in Laurens county."
