Thomas CRAWFORD born Abbeville District, SC, 1774-1780
[in Abbeville County 1790 census, Thomas Crawford was shown in the home of his mother Elizabeth CRAWFORD as "under 16 years", i.e. b.1774-1790; and in the 1800 census Thomas is shown "of 16" and under 26", i.e. b.1774-1784]. Since he was married by the 1800 census and was named in his father's 1780 will, he was born 1774-1780.

Thomas CRAWFORD died in Abbeville District, SC, prior to April 6, 1807; married prior to 1800 census to Rhoda CRAIG (born in Abbeville District, SC, 1778; died in Washington Co., AR, 1854, buried Prarie Grove Cemetery). Children who are shown as grandchildren in the will of Elizabeth CRAWFORD of Abbeville County in her will dated May 11, 1807.

Josiah PATTERSON, Thos. Morrow.
Witnesses: Jno. MOORE, George W. Breazeal, Richard TERRY, Grand Children: James D., Jno, Ebenezer, Rhoda C.Crawford.
Niece: Catharine MILLER. Nephew: Robt. MILLER.
Bequeath to Elizabeth C., child of Catharine Miller.
Sister: Agness.
Inventory made Nov. 6, 1807 by
Jno. MOORE, Wm. CLARK, Jas. Carter."

Joseph TRIMBLE (Turnbull ?) married second, at Petersburg, GA, Martha Bowles (believed to have died Jan. 22, 1809), a widow. Children: (1) Charles; born 1801 or 1802; died Jan. 3, 1871, (2) Martha; born 1805-06; died about 1878.
Joseph TURNBULL / Trimble was the executor of his father-in-law James CRAWFORD, Sr.'s estate.
(note: A Miss Adair m. Turnbull in Ireland, perhaps sister of Sir Robert Adair ?)
