Hello Lillian,
I have some information on a Joseph Adair Jr b. Mar 12, 1732 or 1733 in Chester PA. He was the son of Joseph Adair Sr. b. ABT 1711 in Antrim County Ireland and md. Sarah Lafferty b. ABT 1715 in PA.
My line is:
Joseph Adair Sr. (info above)
Joseph Adair Jr. (info above) md. Sasrah Dillard b. 1736
John Adair b. Sep 1758 md. Jane Fisher Jones
Francis Farmer Adair b. Mar 1 1792 md. Nancy Apperson b.
Oct 27 1796 (Odd - another Apperson married to an Adair)
Lucy Ann Adair Aug 15 1828 md Labon Samuel Apperson Sr. in
1849 in Autauga County Al
David Macby Apperson b. Mar 1865
Charles Laborn Apperson b. May 10, 1893
John D. Apperson (me)
All of that is the good news, the bad news is I cannot not be certain beyond Lucy Ann Adair because of lack of firm documentation. Also I hit a wall with Labon Samuel Apperson - I have no Apperson information prior to him, not even siblings. I hope this information might be helpful in some way. If you find it of value, I would be glad to send you more details about the names above.
