Philip,
From 'The Adairs', by J. B. Adair:
William Adair and his wife spent their old age in Mercer County, KY., and were buried at White Hall in that County.
(My Note: White Hall in Mercer County, KY, was the name of John Adair Jr.'s home.A request for info about the home's location to that county's library years ago, did not get me a positive answer. However John Jr. died there in 1840, but his remains were moved to the State Cemetery at Frankfort in 1872.His wife Catherine died 1854, near Montrose. She was also buried at White Hall and later removed with John to Frankfort.By the way, in the old capitol bldg at Frankfort, I saw a painted portrait of John Adair, Jr.)
I have yet to find a Cemetery listing in Mercer Co. for the family cemetery at White Hall.I have not tried to write again, but I am sure someone knows where it is.At the very least, I am sure that the state archives has information on it, as when the remains were moved from there to the State Cemetery, there was a monument erected alond with a dedication ceremony. There must be some paperwork in the Archives about the moving of the remains. Also you would think the John Adair Jr decendents would be buried at the cemetery and know of White Hall, although I have not seen writings about it. It could very well be that the tombstones are no longer at the family cemetery or elaborate ones were not erected. Let me know what you find.
I would also be interested in your research into the immigrant Thomas Adair. Your posting is the first time I have seen information on the name of Thomas' wife.
In the Adair book, it lists and claims lineage from William the Conqueror and King Robert Bruce of Scotland.Do you have this information, and if so, do you have any documentation, etc.
One other thing, when listing William and Mary Moore Adair's children, I always include information on their adopted son, Col. Edward Lacey.Do you have this information?
I am decended through the daughter of David and Mary Adair Nixon McCalla, Catherine Adair McCalla, who married Wm Daniel Paden. This family left SC in 1833 and settled in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
Would like to hear from you.

In my notes, I have Mary Moore Adairs' death year as 1819
