Pleasant Adair is the son of James and Margaret PETTIT ADAIR. I am direct descendant of William L. who was the second child of James and Margaret. I have the family line and have traced them through White Co., TN to Webster Co., MO. I believe James's father was William born 1760/1770. James was born 1787 in South Carolina.
