When I was growing up in upstate SC the family and everyone around said AYE-dair.
Since moving to Columbia 22 years ago everyone says uh-dair. When I meet people from elsewhere its always uh-dair. I've also met 3 girls with the first name Adair. Its
always uh-dair.
