Kent Co., Dela. Land Records Vol. 3 1723-1734
Quit Claim. STEPHEN ODEER of Kent Co. for 6 pounds quit claim unto James Addams of same co planter...a piece of land ANDREW CALDWELL did by warrant Oct. 10, 1714 take up and conveyed half to CHRISTOPHER NEWGIN. NEWGIN died and having the land in his possession and having two sisters to wit EDITH JAMES and SARAH ODEER. SARAH ODEER is also dec'd and was mother to afsd. STEPHEN ODEER, whereof the said STEPHEN became seized in one half of grant...bounded by land late in the possession of WILLIAM WILSON...100a.
