Hi Max:
Here I am again, back at it, after moving and unpacking all the files that had been so carefully put away. My husband gave me Family Tree Maker for Christmas so I am now addicted again!
I just read your posting (from last November)about the three Adair brothers in the 1871 Ontario census. I may have a lead:
Orin Walter Adair (my husband's great great grandfather) was born March 21, 1837 on Gore Lot 48, Westminister Township, Middlesex County, RR#2 Lambeth, Ontario.
According to my mother-in-law's research, he had a brother, John (born April 13, 1826). Both of these men were sons of John (born November 1793) and Ann Teetzel. The second John married Mary Ann ? and this couple are buried in Lambeth Cemetery.
The information that might fit for you is that John and Mary Ann, according to the notes that Vivian left, had 9 children. Vivian's notes say names are available for these children but she did not list them. At this point I do not know where they might be available. Looking at the dates, it seems reasonable to me that the three Adair brothers you found listed living with the Ryans could be children of John and Mary Ann. What do you think?
