Hi Cousin: I, too, descend from Dr. James Adair through John Cade's daughter,Mary, that married William Kennedy, brother of your Mary Kennedy.
I feel you may have read the 3 Vol. set of books, "Kinfolks" but if not go to your geneology library and read up on our family in Vol II. "Kinfolks" was published by William Curry Harllee in 1935 so is now out of print, but most larger libraries have the set. The Cades and Adairs are covered from page 970-1299.
I would love to swap family info with you.
