My husband's ancestry stems from Castleblayney, co. Monaghan. Walter Adair was
born 1850 and came to New Zealand in 1875. He was the 6th child of Samuel Adair and Sarah McClelland. Others were Eliza Anne 1840, William 1842, Margaret 1844, Mary Jane 1846,
Sarah 1848, Thomas b.? , Nancy, 1856 and Robert 1858. Robert's first marriage produced one son Samuel who lived in Detroit.
Two of Robert's children by his second marriage settled in Alberta, Canada.
