Fellow Adair researchers...a word of caution:
Many aspects of James Barnett Adair's data is suspect, especially that of James Adair the Indian Trader. There are many conflicting contemporary James Adair "facts"--many researchers beleive (me included) that there is more than one James Adair, and that the facts about these individuals have been merged over time. If anyone solves this mystery, I for one will applaud them!
