As far as I know there is no genealogical evidence for Thomas Adair. He has been mentioned a number of times in books, but no sources are ever cited: no tombstone records, no will, no estate proceedings, no property purchases, no marriage records, no land sales. His "position" in the Adair family tree may come solely from "family lore".
