Believe there may have been another record for this couple (which I have pencilled in)showing - John Posey 1685-1759 married Elizabeth Adair b. in Charles Co. Maryland. This John Posey 1685-1759 m.(before 1716) Lydia Shuttleworth, and they had dau. Frances Posey b.1716 who m. Thomas Maddox b.1712. However, there is another entry near the above pafg160 at - http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~shill957/pafg1002.htm which shows - John Posey Capt. was born about 1722 in Charles Co. MD. He died in 1790/1799 in Chester Co. PA. John Posey married Elizabeth Adair before Jun 1769. Other marriages: Martha Price.
