Jan,

This is what I do know. Henry Adair was born 27 Feb 1809 in New Jersey (maybe Sommerset County). He married Mary Van Tuyle who was born 19 July 1815, I think this was also in New Jesey. I have no date of marriage for them as of yet.

I named their children in my earlier message. Nelson, who was five (5) years-old at the 1850 census and was my great grandfather, was born 15 Feb 1846 in Varick, Seneca County, New York. Nelson married Mary Randolph, again no date of marriage. One of their children was a Harry Randolph Adair born 20 Dec 1869 in Owosso, Shiawassee County, Michigan. He married Neva Esther Smith 1 April 1895 in Big Rapids, Mecosta County, Michigan and one of their three (3) daughters is my mother.

I have been trying to find marriage information for the earlier Adair's hoping to get whatever I can from the records on the earliest Adairs. I do not know where they came from or anything like that.
