John ADAIR -Donegal-agent to E. of Arran

I note that the 1846 Slater's directory for Donegal lists a John ADAIR in Bridge Street, Donegal Town as agent to the Earl of Arran. A John Adair is listed in Griffiths Valuation as owning property in Donegal parish and also in Killymard where an estate of the Earl of Arran was called Mullans. Does any one know anything about this John ADAIR?
