Thanks for your response. You said that Isula
(thanks for correction of spelling) was 1 yrs. old in 1880. My ggrandmother was supposed to have been born in 1885. Now,
there could be a mix up in the year she was
supposed to have been born. Does the census
have her siblings listed? My Isula was born in Fernandina Beach, Nassau Co., Fla. She
moved to Gwinnett Co. Ga. sometime after that. But I don't know exactly when.
I know that she and John Louie Medlock had 5
children, including my Grandfather. The oldest child was born in Buford Ga. in 1900.
The childrens names were- Eros, Hoke, Grover,
Christine, and my grandfather Paul(Shorty)
Medlock. They all ended up in Florida. Please
let me know if you have anything else on this
family.
