Note to my ADAIR Family:

Both Walter Scott and Nancy are buried in Stilwell, Oklahoma. They are in the Stilwell City Cemetary. This land was once their home. It was deeded to the town many years ago.
Also, Walter and Nancy's children are buried there.
Walter's grave, in the old Cherokee tradition, has a sandstone crypt above ground. The grave has been disturbed several times by vandals. There were stories that Walter had been buried with his saddle and other valuables.
My Adair Family and yours, if you are interested, will be restoring this grave in late summer or early Autumn. Please let me know if you are interested in helping us to do this work.
