Greetings. I believe that the W.P.Adair that was father of your grandmother is possibly William Penn Adair, who married a Sarah Ann Adair, as well as a Sue McIntosh Drew. It could also be Wm. Pendelton Adair, who married a Julia Frances Allison. There are several William Penn Adairs listed in Dr. Starr's book on the Adair Genealogy. Hope this will help. Jean
