Elizabeth Adair, 1/2 Cherokee Indian, b. ca 1780-90, SC?, m. abt 1800 GA to Emanuel York. Emanuel died 1834 Jefferson Co., AL. They had several children, one dau., Mary "Polly" York married Wiley Bagwell in 1823 Jefferson Co., AL. Her first cousin is Black Watt, aka Walter Adair, and her brother is Robert S. or T. Adair. Have been unable to find proof of her parents.
