Perhaps there may be information on the White Knight at Kilmallock, co. Limerick, as in the book "A Topographical Dictionary of Ireland" vol.II pages 171 - 173 under the town of KILMALLOCK, 16 miles s. of Limerick it mentions:
"The remains of the Dominican Monastery, situated on the banks of the Lubach contains the broken tomb of the last of the White Knights, the representative of whom is the present Earl of Kingston."
Perhaps the local people have the history of the town and the ancestors of the Earl of Kingston which may confirm the name of the FITZGERALD/ADARE who slew the WHITE KNIGHT and the date.
