This may be a stretch, but I've exhausted so many avenues. My ggrandmother was Carpey (Mary Eliz?) Adair born Sept 1873 in Spencer, Indiana. I don't know if that is Spencer the town or the county. After 1890 she was married to G.B. Benbrook and lived her life in Miami, Okla. According to her obit she had sisters, Ora and Drucilla, and its possible her father was Burleigh (Burleh?) Adair. Any help on Carpey would sure be appreciated.
