Seeking information about John Fredrick Acoff and Sarah Ann Richer who resided in the Grafton Rensselaer Co, NY area c 1830 - 1870. Unable to determine where John was born...possibly Pennsylvania. Sarah Ann Richer may be the daughter of Jacob and Martha (?) Richer of Berlin, Rensselaer Co, NY? John and Sarah had four known children, or Catherine M. b.c. 1831; Nancy S. b.c. 1839 who married Lemuel K. Tinney; John G. born 9 Feb 1842 who married Sarah J. Barnes; and Martha A. born 14 Jul 1835. Martha A. married Harvey Feathers son of William and Mary Jane (Smith) Feathers of Grafton. Harvey and Martha moved to Waupaca county, WI, prior to 1880 where they raised their family.
