In Reply to: Osborn ACTON MD--OH--MO information on tombstone by John Acton of 905

I found the announcement of Osborn's death in the following newspaper. I have a copy if anyone is interested.

"The Kansas Chief", Sol. Miller--Editor, White Cloud, Kansas :::: April, 1 1869.

Deaths -- There is still a large amount of sickness throughout the country. The past Winter and present Spring have been severe on persons troubled with lung affections, and there has been a great deal of Pneumonia, and typhoid diseases. Deaths have been numerous.
Mr. Osborn Acton, an old settler of Holt County, Missouri, and for a few years past a resident of this Township, died at his home on Cedar Creek, on Monday of Pneumonia.
George Anderson, an old settler on Lost Creek, in Brown County, died on Wednesday, of lung disease.
A man named Hollister DeWitt, of St. Joseph, died very suddenly, on Tuesday night, at the residence of Mr. Baxter, near Robinson, Brown County, where he was on a visit. His health had not been good for some time past.
