Peggy: you probably have this but: 1860 census for Iowa Decatur County house hold # 614-579 Polly Kessiah age 65 b. Tenn, Minta Kesiah age 38 b. Kentucky, Hannah Kesiah age 18 b. Indiana, Elizabeth Burrell age 15 b. Missouri, Jefferson Green age 12 b. Missouri, and Sarah Kesiah age 5 b. Iowa.
Household # 615-580 is George Burrel age 39 b. Ark with Hannah Burrel age 39 b. Kent,and children John age 17, Mary J age 15, Wm Burrell age 11, James Burrell age 8 and George Burrell age 6. In the 1870 census for Iowa just below George and Minta Burrell there looks to me #46 Robin Kizire and his wife Mary age 18 and just below them looks to me like Kizzer, John age 56 b, Kentucky with wife Nancy age 39, Hannah age 14, Amy age 12, Nancy, age 11 , Eliza age 9 and ?Mineta age 7...So, I am thinking that this John Kizzer is Polly Acton Kizziar's son and possibly the brother of Minta and not Minta's husband.
