Hello Charles,
Maybe you can help me with my Acton branch of Charles County, Maryland.
Unfortunely I don't have a whole lot of information to work with. My gggrandmother Suzannah Catherine Acton born 1836 has two brothers, one older, one younger. Not sure who the older is but the younger's name is Richard. Her mother's name is Christianna. In the 1840 Charles County Census, Christianna is head of household with three small children. I don't have a clue as to who Suzannah's father could be. I'm not sure if he died between 1830 and 1840 or where they may have lived. Maybe her parents divorced. I'm just not sure.
Suzannah married James Fairfax Willett. They also lived in Charles County, Maryland.
If you have any thoughts as to where I might look or if you by some luck know of this family I'd appreciate any info you might be willing to share.
