Goerge Acton came to America from England in 1853. He settled in Morris, Grundy County, Illinois. His wifes name was Hannah. Had a daughter named Martha (born in England) and a son, Goerge Joseph (4-1-1855) born in Morris. Does anyone know who his parents are? I have an obituary that says he was born in Nottingham, England Oct 2,1825, but I have been unable to go any further. I am willing to share information I have.
