I posted a message last year asking any available information on Mathew or Joseph ACTON, and have since found a picture of Joseph ACTON listed among championship wrestlers (w/picture) at the turn of the century. I still seek any information on this line of ACTON'S that resided in the Port Jervis, New York (Orange Co.) area. Mathew ACTON was married to "Eugene Maude (Hazen) ACTON." Unknown who Joseph ACTON was married to. Mathew ACTON ran a quarry in upstate New York, and his wife "Eugena" ran a boarding house for workers at the quarry. Please email if you believe your line of ACTON'S might connect with mine. Both Mathew and Joseph ACTON arrived from England to New York at the turn of the century.
