Looking for more info on the Action Family
In 1913 Tom Acton murdered his son-law because he thought he was abusing his daughter. the son-law was Virgil Bird. When Virgils father heard about the murder, he went looking for Tom Acton, when he found him , he shot him twice. Jacob Bird was tried for the murder of Tom Acton but the jury would not find Jake Bird guilty . This happened in and around Greebriar and Republic Arkansas.
