Edward Acton came from northern Ireland to St. Louis, MO, about 1850. He married Jane Oakes and had 3 children: Edward J, Frances Ann (Fannie), and George. Later he married Mary Harmon and had a son William. We have tracked down all the children except Frances, who supposedly married John J. Brown and was in Hot Springs, Arkansas, July 12, 1882. Anyone have information?
