Info needed on Ferrill Burrell Shoemake- bn 1832 in SC; in AL by 1837 (1850 census had him in Pike Co,AL)--by 1852 was in Austin Co,TX--by the late 1860's settled in LaVaca Co, Tx near Sublime till death in 1913. Had sister named Sarah Shoemake Brooks bn abt 1830 in SC; & had a bro. James Calvin bn abt 1837 in AL - wife was Martha. All settled in Lavaca Co, Tx.Appeared to have been raised by G.W. & Mary Shields. F.B. Shoemake married 3 times--1st to Sarah Houchins Dunford Austin Co,Tx--2nd to Mary McCarty bye late 1860's in LaVaca Co,Tx--& 3rd in 1874 to Annie Briscoe (Briskey) Harris in LaVaca Co., Tx. F.B. was a CSA Vet & several children from all marriages. Info appreciated.
