Betty

Are you referring to 1880 - Lowndes Co - Beat #9 Mt Willing? I've seen that one when I was looking for more on the Achimons from Tallapoosa Co.

If David S, born 1814 or 1819, of Tallapoosa Co isn't a brother of James Monroe of Lowndes County do you think he is a cousin perhaps? I find it interesting that David named his second or third son (james was a twin) James Monroe. It was tradition at that time to name your kids after your parents, your siblings and yourself.
