I am looking for anyone that has information on Peter Acree from Kanawha County (Poca / Elkview) WV. He was born about 1849 (or maybe 1852), married Margaret J Reynolds (Aug 2 1871)and had 4 children: George Dayton Acree b 1872, John M. Acree b ~ 1875, Everett Ervin Acree b 1876, and Romeo Houston Acree b 1880.
Peter also married Mary J. Given (Aug 2, 1883, no children) and might have married Sarah (LNU) in 1904, both in the Charleston, Kanawha Co, WV area.
All census say Peter was born in WV. His father might have been named Francis from NC or VA but this is sketchy.
This Peter Acree is not to be confused with the Peter Acree from Walton, Roane Co, WV born about 1829 and married to Nancy Paxton with 2 sons and 1 daughter.
I really would like to take this at least one step farther than where we are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
