Do you perhaps have a John Smith Acree among your records? I have been unable to find anything about him. The timeframe is the 1800's. His wife was Mary Virginia Stewart (born c. 1843). They had a daughter, Martha Ellen Acree (my grandmother) born 27 March 1869 in New Kent Co., Va. She married William Bernard Bowles of Goochland Co., Va. I would appreciate any leads. Thanks. dorothy
