i am trying to find out more information on my great grandfather Juan Acosta. I know that he was born in Sonora, Mexico and was a Yaqui Indian or part Yaqui. He passed away around 1928. He also served as a deputy U.S. Marshal for Corona, California. His wifes name was Trinidad Gracia, she was from Spain.
I am trying to trace my Yaqui roots. any information provided would be appreciated.
