My name is Alejandro (Alex) Martinez. My Martinez ancestors were living in Nacogdoches around 1820-1865. My greatgrandmother was an Acosta (born in Louisiana) married to great grandfather, Jose T. Martinez, in 1858 in Nacogdoches. Jose T. Martinez' father was Francisco Martinez, married to Maria Escolastica Diaz. I don't have any information if my GGgranfather Francisco had siblings. I believe he was a Spanish soldier, stationed in Nacogdoches at the time, but was a native of Durango Mexico, born about 1803. I recognize many of the names you mentioned aznd probably am related in some fashion to most of them.If any of this sounds helpful please contact me at amart2@prodigy.net
