I have found Domingo Acosta & Damiana Perera or variations, came to the U.S. on the Polacre La Victoria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Oct. 22, 1778. Domingo listed as Antonio also on later DOBR documents. Wife Maria listed as Perera on one list source Perez on another. Fmly mem: Andrea, 18; Lorenzo, 14; Domingo, 13; Francisco, 10; Blais, 8; Maria 15. Source: Canary Islanders of Louisiana. Gilbert C.
