Letticia,
Could you give a little more information. My great grandmother was Teodora Acosta Martinez, married to Jose T. Martinez. They came to Floresville, Texas from Nacogdoches, Texas. I lived in Poth while growing up. There were Victoriano Acosta, Dionicio Acosta, Trinidad Martinez Acosta and husband William Acosta. William and Teodora's father was Luis Ramon Acosta, also settling in Wilson county after 1880. I had a great Aunt named Maria Trinidad Martinez who married (among others) Lorenzo Acosta. They lived in the Floresville, Poth, Kennedy area. She also married Maximo Martinez, who became infamous for murdering Plutarcho Carillo, his wife and their granddaughter Juanita Acost, daughter of Antonio Acosta, in the Poth area.

If we exchange information we may be able to find new information.

Alex Martinez
