My family is from Donaldsonville/ Paincourtville, LA area, but I have never been able to trace much info past my own grandfather, Lawrence Joseph Acosta, Sr. Know that my mother's family (MONTERO, also from Donaldsonville) has been traced back to Canary Islands. Any info you could forward would be appreciated.
