The information that I have on John Acorn states that he was born in 1761 in Broad Bay, Maine, and died June 19, 1857. He married Eleanor Williams. My info also states that Mattias Eichorn married to Margaret was his Grandfather. John moved to Prince Edward Island following the American Revolution. He came to PEI in 1782. Both John and Eleanor are buried in Pownal Churchyard, PEI.
