Hello Jessica,

The information I have uncovered states that there were actually two persons by the name of Matthias Eichorn. The original Matthias Eichorn and his wife Margaret, emigrated from Germany in 1748 (Waldoborough). His son Matthias (Danforth)married an Algonquin native(name unknown). Their son John (1761-1857)emigrated to the Isle of St. Jean (Prince Edward Island) after the American revolution.
