Greetings- the Acord name as known in the states is actually spelled Ekert in the Prussian or German records. My ancestor is Zurr Acord born 9 Mar 1793 at Rich Creek, monroe Co, VA his father is John Acord/Ekert born 1767 at Heidelburg ,Pa married Rachel Combs 12 aug 1788. His father is Conrad Jacob Acord born 6 feb 1741 in Prussia died 25 Aug 1791 married Elisabeth Hain. His Father was Johann Ekert born abt 1715 and married Angela Hicks. I am from the Acords that are in Utah- Mirim
