I too am interested in Orpha Acord Prose. She was the daughter of John Acord b. 1825 in Muskingum Co, Ohio and Mary Ellen Hixon b. 1827 in Ross County, Ohio. Orpha had a brother named William Oscar Acord who married Mary H. Williams.
I found Orpha (widowed) in the 1900 census in Haddon, Sullivan, IN, and her father John Acord was living there with her. I found her death information (her obit was in the Tribune on 26 June 1916, burial in Waverly Cemetery), but I've never found the death information for her father, John Acord.
John was the son of John Acord b. 1791 PA and Margaret Atwood b. 1803 VA.
