ROBERT ODOM 1822 TN - 1881 AR.
Searching for any information about his parents or siblings.
I, along with others working on this line, have been unable to locate any additional link to prove he was born there or the names of his parents/siblings.
Other family surnames include: ACORD, BASKIN, BOWEN, CASEY, CLOUGH, DAVIS, DUKE, HARDGRAVE, HILL, PRYOR, SPARKS, STEWART, SWIFT.
We know that some of these families traveled together by wagon train in early 1800's. Many of his descendants settled in the AR, OK areas.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. We have photos and documents to share.

Military records from the Nat'l Archives show he was born 8-2-1822 in Waynesboro, Wayne Co., TN.
Robert enlisted in the US Army on June 10, 1846 in Clarksville, AR. Served under Cpt. PB Collins, as a Pvt. in Co. A, AR. Volunteers, Capt. Wm. Gray.
Served in Mexican War in 1846 as a Pvt. in Co. A AR. Volunteers; and Civil War 1864-65 as a Pvt. Co. G in the 2nd AR. Infantry for the Union.
He died 3-11-1881 in Harmony, Johnson Co., AR, and is buried there in the Harmony Cemetery. He was probably a farmer.
He married ZERELDA ANGELINE SWIFT 8-22-1844 in Harmony, Johnson Co, AR,
daughter of JOHN SWIFT and HARDENIA CLOUGH both b Hanover Co, VA.
Zerelda Angeline was born 2-18-1828 in Eastern Dist. of TN, and died 7-9-1908 in Harmony, Johnson Co., AR, and is also buried in the Harmony Cemetery.
