Can anyone share any information regarding the connection with the Acords and Baileys of West Virginia? I have seen reference to Eliza M Acord Bailey, daughter of John Acord. One of John's children is a "Bill Acord". Does anyone have any information on Bill? I am trying to locate the Bailey family that raised a Bill or William Acord (he went by Bill or William or maybe even his middle name "Lee" Bailey while living with them). There was no mention of any other children living with the Bailey's while Bill Acord lived with them. This would have been around 1907 - 1920's. I'm also trying to get information on William Talley Acord's children (including any children born out of wedlock). William Acord's mother,Eliza Plumley, died when William was around 2-3 years of age and he was raised by the Bailey family. He was born out of wedlock and his father was a "William Acord". Does anyone have any information about this family?
