Hello there-My husband's family is from up on Acord Mountain-I now have quite a bit information-I will be happy to share-all I need from you is to email me at scoot@wcgnet.net -->with any information you have on your family. Some of what I have is not verified but givin alot of ppl put alot of work into it, I'd say it is pretty close. I have been able to trace the Acord family-who lived on Acord Mountain Raleigh Co, WV-to Peter Eckert b. Abt 1671 Germany. As I said I will be glad to help, or at least give you a few links to try. I wish you luck-there are plenty of Acord's!!! Have fun
