Zur's parents are Job (Jacob) Acord b. 1801 and Mary "Polly" Harper b. abt 1802 married October 02, 1820 in Gallie County, Ohio.

Job's parents are John Acord and Rachael Combs. John died sometime before 1840 probably in Delaware Co., IN. Rachael in 1859 in Freemont Co., Iowa.
