Hi, again I have at least 14 Martha's. Makes it complicated doesn't it? I do not have a J. A. Tolliver, but other Tollivers. I have a Martha E. b abt 1860 and in the 1870 census as a child in the household of William Floyd Acord and Elizabeth. I believe his marriage record has as William Floyd's parents are John "Old Jack" and Nancy Harper. John Old Jack is a son of John Eckert/Eagart/Acord and Rachel Combs. In another census, 2 of John's Sr. children say he was born in Penn. Yes, Eckert is originally german, probably Penn Dutch.
Interestingly, Elizabeth Jane Acord, sister of Martha E. married a William Tolliver, probably kin to your James Tolliver. Please contact me direct for more information. jacord521@aol.com
