The Acklins of Huntsville,AL spell the name Acklen. Sally may have been one of them. The family traveled from Speedwell, TN to Huntsville and helped found that town. There is a very famous branch of the family that are from Nashville, TN. There was a Sally Acklen from Huntsville, but this is not the same woman you are wanting information on. Hope this helps.
