I am searching for the parents of Christopher ACKLIN, b. 21 Jul 1814, m. 28 Mar 1841 Knox Co., TN to Susanna (CRUSH) MOORE, widow of William G. MOORE.
It would appear that Christopher & Susanna had only 1 child prior to Christopher's death on 7 Jul 1852 (probably in Knoville), Sarah "Sallie" ACKLIN.
Sallie was born Feb 1843. Sallie had 2 children Christopher Columbus ACKLIN (m. Cora Cecelia COTTRELL) and Nellie L. ACKLIN (m. Millard PORTWOOD).
I do not think that Sallie ever married. However, if she did marry, was it to another ACKLIN?
Following Christopher's death, Susanna married 3rd William John KELLY in 1855.
I'd like to exchange information on this family.
